Co-Facilitator, Nutritional Therapist, Herbal Medicine Practitioner

Hi, I’m Jessica O’Dwyer, I run a successful Nutritional Therapy clinic in London. My passion for nutrition started at a young age, when I grew up with a very ill sister. I started my career in Biopharmaceutical Science, where I soon realised making pharmaceuticals was not the route I wanted to take when helping people manage their diseases. I strongly believe in a patient-centred approach, through the application of integrative medicine philosophies which help people figure out the “why” behind their symptoms. This lead me to study a Masters in Personalised Nutrition.

My Background + Training -

After many years of clinical experience gained through working at some of the busiest medical centres - and having previously worked as an in-house Nutritional Therapist for Barclays Bank and UBS employees across London - I decided to specialise in complex illnesses associated with a focus on hormone and gut issues. I also spent years working at the top Functional Medicine lab, analysing test results for other practitioners to help them understand their clients' cases.

I’m passionate about research, having also previously worked on the Nutritional Psychiatry research team at ‘The Food for Mood Centre’ under the Deakin University, Australia, focusing on the gut and brain connections. I love translating what may seem like complicated science into everyday language, as it’s important to have an understanding and supportive approach when it comes to health.

Hi, I'm Aisling Fox! I am a Nutritional Therapist, Herbalist and the owner of Aok Nutrition. I also host Spilling The Tea with Aok Nutrition’, a female health-focused podcast, where we chat about all-things hormones, vaginas, periods, sex, fertility and so much more - essentially, spilling the tea on all of the things that we should have been taught in school! My goal is to educate and empower women on their health and hormones.

I am a self-confessed science nerd. I adore modern medicine and love biology, physiology and keeping up with the latest research. I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda during my academic training, which only further fuelled my passion and interest in Traditional Medicine.

My Background + Training -

In 2014, I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist after completing a 3-year diploma in Nutritional Therapy, from The College of Naturopathic Medicine. This included 1 year of Biomedicine studies, 2 years of Nutrition studies and over 200 hours of clinical practice.

In 2016, I returned to CNM and completed my diploma in Naturopathy, which allowed me to widen my knowledge of Chinese and Ayurveda medicine, Iridology, Bach Flower Therapies, Tissue Salts, Herbal Formulas and Chinese Diagnostics (nail, pulse, face, tongue).

In 2022, I qualified with distinction in Herbal Medicine, after completing my post-grad diploma in CNM. This included 300 hours of clinical practice, training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda and extensive study of phytochemistry and pharmacology.
